The E-flat dominant minor ninth chord (abbreviated Eb7(b9) chord) is a five-note chord consisting of the notes E, G, B, D, and F. The chord is formed by adding a minor ninth to the E-flat dominant seventh chord.

In practice, the fifth (B) is often omitted from the Eb7(b9) chord because it's not always possible to play all notes simultaneously.
