Musicca is a free music-learning platform used by people across the world. Musicca was founded in 2019 by Lasse Grubbe, Master of Arts in Musicology.
Music is essential for all individuals across the world. It plays an important role in our lives, both in and out of school, and for people of all ages. Music and music education is for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, and not just for those with the potential to become professional musicians.
Musicca is dedicated to transform music education by making high-quality, data-driven learning materials freely accessible to students, educators and musicians across the world. Musicca makes learning fun and easy for all skill levels, so that more people can reach their learning goals and enjoy the gift of music.
Musicca is founded by Lasse Grubbe, Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Copenhagen. I was born in 1988 in Denmark and grew up with a piano in my home. At the age of 10, I started having piano lessons and I have played ever since.
Musicca is formed on the basis of the Danish music-learning platform Musikipedia. Launched in 2008, it has now become the leading music learning-platform in Denmark.
